Eight teams. Seven Northwest states. Five days at Harry & David Field. The Tigard Barbers claimed the title and the ticket to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina.
That’s a wrap on the 2026 Northwest Regional — and the Tigard Barbers are champions. After dropping their Wednesday opener to Lewiston, Tigard won five straight elimination games to take the title: past Kenai, past Medford, past Lewiston in Saturday’s nightcap, past Honolulu in Sunday’s 1:00 PM semifinal, and past Lewiston once more in the 4:00 PM championship. The Barbers advance to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina. Complete results from all five days are below, and every team’s 2026 roster is linked from its state card above.

Regional week is one of Medford's biggest tourism weeks of the year — teams, scouts, families, and traveling fans book up the Rogue Valley fast. Below is a starting point. Lock in rooms as early as you can, especially if you need a block for your team or supporter group.

The American Legion Baseball Northwest Regional — officially Region 7 — is one of eight regional tournaments that decide the field for the American Legion World Series. Eight teams from seven Western states play five days of double-elimination baseball; the winner books a flight to Shelby, North Carolina.
For more than 100 years, American Legion Baseball has shaped young athletes through competition, sportsmanship, and citizenship. Yogi Berra, Ted Williams, and countless MLB stars all came up through this program. Region 7 (Northwest) comprises seven states: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. Each state's AAA American Legion champion qualifies. With the host team included, the regional field is eight teams.
The Northwest Regional champion advances to the American Legion World Series at Veterans Field at Keeter Stadium in Shelby, North Carolina. The ALWS is the national championship of American Legion Baseball — eight regional champions, one national title.
Seeding for Region 7 is determined by American Legion Baseball — typically a combination of host designation, state-tournament finish, and historical performance. The 2026 bracket is final. Opening round, Wednesday, August 5: Tri-City Titans (Kennewick, WA) vs. Kenai Twins (AK) at 9:00 AM, Team Central (Honolulu, HI) vs. Cheyenne Sixers (WY) at 11:15 AM, Lewis Clark Twins (Lewiston, ID) vs. Tigard Barbers (OR) at 6:00 PM, and Missoula Mavericks (MT) vs. the host Medford Mustangs at 8:15 PM.
Tickets are sold at the gate — no advance purchase needed. Tournament passes good for all five days are $40.00, single-day tickets are $10.00, and children 12 & under plus all active / inactive military get in free. The gate opens ahead of the first game each day.
Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport (MFR) is about 15 minutes from the ballpark, with daily nonstops to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Rental cars are available on-site. For Region 7 teams driving, I-5 connects directly to Washington and Northern California; I-84 and I-80 feed in from Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Hawaii's champion flies into MFR.

Absolutely. Concessions are open during games, kids are welcome, and regional week has a great big-tournament atmosphere. Bring sunscreen, water, and a hat — early August in Medford is warm and sunny, with day games into the 90s.
