The Medford Mustangs are an American Legion baseball team featuring the best high school and young college talent. Eligibility is determined by American Legion Baseball birth date requirements. The Mustangs draw players from across Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley, including athletes from North Medford High School, South Medford High School, Crater, Phoenix, Eagle Point, Ashland, Cascade Christian, and St. Mary's.
2026 tryouts are scheduled for May 31, 2026 at 3:00 PM at North Medford High School. Tryouts are open to all eligible high school and young college players. Check our schedule page or contact us for the most up-to-date tryout information.
The Medford Mustangs play home games at Harry & David Field, Field 9, or North Medford High School — all located in Medford, Oregon. Harry & David Field is the primary home venue, located at 1501 E Main St, Medford, OR 97504. Check our schedule page for specific game locations.
American Legion Baseball is one of the oldest and most respected summer baseball programs in the United States, showcasing the best high school and young college talent each summer. The Medford Mustangs are Oregon's most successful American Legion program with 18 State Championships and 27 MLB Draft Picks.
Yes. The Medford Mustangs have a strong track record of player development with 27 MLB Draft Picks, 20+ current college players, and 3 active professional players.
