Harry & David Field has been the home of Oregon's winningest American Legion program for decades. The field has hosted state championships, regional showdowns, and produced 27 MLB Draft Picks. From the well-kept infield to the hand-operated scoreboard touches, every detail tells the story of Southern Oregon baseball.
Visitors regularly call it one of the prettiest ballparks they've played at — the Rogue Valley sunsets, mountain backdrops, and warm summer evenings give every game a postcard quality you can't manufacture. If you're traveling to Medford for the tournament, plan to stay through a sunset game.

The Oregon American Legion AAA State Tournament is the premier summer baseball event in the state — five days of double-elimination ball deciding which program represents Oregon at the Northwest Regional and the road to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina.
For more than 100 years, American Legion Baseball has shaped young athletes through competition, sportsmanship, and citizenship. Yogi Berra, Ted Williams, and countless MLB stars all came up through this program. Hosting Oregon's AAA State Tournament is a privilege we don't take lightly — we're carrying forward a tradition that's bigger than any single summer.

The Oregon AAA State Champion advances directly to the Northwest Regional Tournament, also hosted in Medford August 5–9, 2026. The Northwest Regional winner advances to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina.
Absolutely. Harry & David Field has been a community ballpark for generations. Concessions are open during games, kids are welcome, and tournament weeks have a great summer-baseball atmosphere. Bring sunscreen and a hat — Medford summers are warm and sunny.
Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport (MFR) is about 15 minutes from the ballpark, with daily nonstops to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Rental cars are available on-site.
